Drug Enforcement Administration Aviation Enforcement Agent
Role
Provide support in the air to DEA operations in stopping illegal drug activities inside and outside the United States. This support comes in the form of gathering intelligence, detecting illegal drug activities, and supporting the apprehending of suspects of these illegal activities. DEA air operations also include surveillance of potential suspects and transportation of cargo and persons. These agents will fly missions within these parameters and utilize certain aircraft pertinent to the task at hand. The DEA has multiple fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft to fit its mission. An Aviation Enforcement Agent is a DEA agent first and a pilot second.

Requirements
-Had to have completed basic DEA agent training
-Must be a DEA agent first for multiple years-Meet minimum DEA grade requirements (GS-11)
-FAA Private Pilot License (will be chosen to train for instrument rating and commercial license)
-Class II medical
