In order to become a Naval Aviator in one of the world’s most elite fighting forces, you must first pass a few hurdles. United States Navy requires that all of its Naval Aviators complete a four year degree, earning a bachelors, at any United States accredited institution. Then, Naval Aviators must also earn a commission as an officer through one of the few officer training sources. The United States Naval Academy, Officer Candidate School, and the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps are the three Naval Officer commissioning sources available to aspiring Naval Aviators. Through your respective commissioning source, and short after, you will also be faced with various levels of medical qualifications and background checks. Once you have completed each of the steps, and passed all background checks and medical exams, you may then embark on the pipeline that crafts some of the world's most elite pilots.
