National Park Service Pilot

Role

National Park Service Pilots fly fixed-wing or rotary aircraft to support wildfire response, search and rescue, law enforcement, and natural resource missions. Operating in remote and challenging environments, they ensure safe, efficient aviation support while complying with FAA and Department of the Interior's standards. Most positions only offered with the United States Park Police in Washington and Big Cypress National Preserve.

Requirements

-Class 2 medical

-Must hold commercial certificate with instrument rating

-Minimum flight are 1,500 hours
